On Tuesday we were pleased to host The Honourable Tony Perrett MP, Queensland Minister for Primary Industries, together with Mr Jon Krause MP, Member for Scenic Rim, at Nbryo’s Brisbane laboratory for a firsthand look at the technologies and scientific capabilities being developed by our team. The visit reflects the growing recognition of agricultural innovation as a critical driver of productivity and sustainability within Queensland’s livestock sector.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase how Nbryo is advancing bovine reproductive technologies to help cattle producers improve reproductive performance, accelerate genetic gain and increase herd productivity. Minister Perrett and Mr Krause MP toured our laboratory facilities, observed embryo development and assessment processes, and received demonstrations of several technologies currently being developed and commercialised by the company.
The visit coincides with the Queensland Government’s broader focus on supporting the commercialisation of agricultural technologies through initiatives such as QIC’s $30 million Sowing the Seeds of Farming Innovation Fund. Two million dollars will be invested in Nbryo through the Sowing the Seeds fund, as has been communicated to all shareholders.
